Outpatient clinics

When you visit an outpatient clinic, make sure you have your health insurance card, your hospital card and your up-to-date list of medications on hand. Depending on the sector, outpatient clinics may have various specialties, such as general surgery, neurology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, otorhinolaryngology (ORL), cardiology, microbiology, obstetrics/gynecology, respirology, pediatrics, psychiatry and child psychiatry.

BAIE-COMEAU

Outpatient clinic: For availability, you can contact the appointment centre from the second week of each month.

Diabetes clinic: Nursing follow-up and one-on-one teaching, both for adult users and for users with gestational diabetes. Access upon medical reference.

Heart failure clinic: Specialized follow-up by a nurse and an internist for adult users with heart failure. Access upon medical reference.

Travel health clinic: Consultation services on protection and disease prevention during stays abroad, as well as vaccination, if necessary. Medical reference required in certain cases. PORT-CARTIER

It is mandatory to book an appointment on site at the routine health services or by calling 418 766-2572, ext. 443279.

Available services (users of the local service network, from Gallix to Pointe-aux-Anglais):

  • Wound care (dressing);
  • Intravenous antibiotic therapy;
  • Administration of injections;
  • Blood pressure measurement;
  • Ear cleaning;
  • Transfusion;
  • Any other nursing service.

SEPT-ÎLES

STI and BBI clinic: Appointment clinic (symptomatic or not) and walk-in clinic.
