Blood samples and other samples

Specimen collections (blood tests, gynecological specimens and other types of prescribed specimen collections), except for people referred in emergency, are only made on appointment in the specimen collection centres of the following communities:

  • Port-Cartier
  • Sept-Îles
  • Havre-Saint-Pierre
  • Blanc-Sablon
  • Fermont

Specimens in the other communities will continue to be collected following usual practices in place.

Les Escoumins

Présentez-vous avec votre prescription pour un prélèvement entre 7 h 30 et 9 h 30 du lundi au vendredi. Veuillez ne pas arriver avant l’heure d’ouverture car il ne sera pas possible d’accéder au centre de prélèvements. 

Forestville

Présentez-vous avec votre prescription pour un prélèvement entre 8 h et 10 h du lundi au vendredi. Veuillez ne pas arriver avant l’heure d’ouverture car il ne sera pas possible d’accéder au centre de prélèvements. 

Baie-Comeau

Prélèvements sans rendez-vous : Présentez-vous avec votre prescription pour un prélèvement entre 6 h 40 et 11 h. 

Veuillez ne pas arriver avant 6 h 40 car il ne sera pas possible d’accéder au centre de prélèvements. Sur place, vous serez accueilli, pour votre inscription, par le personnel, qui vous dirigera ensuite vers un cubicule pour votre prélèvement.

Certaines analyses nécessitent un horaire particulier, veuillez contacter le laboratoire entre 13 h et 16 h au 418-589-3701, poste 302732 afin de connaître les modalités.
