Regional interpreter service in Sept-Îles (liaison officer) in English and Naskapi
An interpreter and accompaniment service in English and Naskapi is available in health and social services facilities in Sept-Îles. To talk to the liaison officer, Ms. Sharon Tardif, call 418-965-7621 or simply pick up the phone at the entrance of the emergency department and at the main entrance of the hospital, at 45, rue du Père-Divet.
The main tasks of the liaison officer are to:
- Welcome and inform the clientele about the available services
- Accompany the English-speaking clientele
- Act as a liaison from one service to another to ensure the continuity of service
- Support the intervenors in their relationships with the English-speaking clientele
- Act as an interpreter
A few days before your travel or your appointment, contact the liaison officer to book an appointment and thus ensure you have access to this service!

A list of bilingual staff members is available at the reception desk of almost all facilities of the CISSS de la Côte-Nord. Feel free to ask for more information!
