Are you going through personal, family or work-related difficulties?
During difficult times, it is normal to experience anger, anxiety and sadness. Everyone can cope with a situation in a different way. Sometimes, assistance is necessary to sort it out. When several of the following symptoms appear, it is important to ask for help:
- Concentration problems
- Sleep problems
- Tendency for social isolation
- Reduced interest in fun activities
- Increased alcohol or drug use
- Irritable mood or sadness (mood swings, discouragement)
- Suicidal thoughts
Whether you are going through a divorce, bereavement, burnout, crisis, any other stressful or challenging situation, or a problem affecting your mental health, there are professionals available to guide you and help you. Talk to one of our psychosocial workers, who will be able to provide you with support, information, or assistance to find resources to meet your needs. They will listen to you with benevolence, respect and empathy. They will analyze the situation and suggest solutions that suit you.
Our services are confidential and free of charge.
These types of situations leave no one indifferent, even though no two persons are affected in the same way. With these information sheets, the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de la Côte-Nord wants to provide tools for those who have more difficulty living through these situations and their relatives.
