Disclosure of Wrongdoings
Under the Act to facilitate the disclosure of wrongdoings relating to public bodies, you can make a disclosure of a wrongdoing to the Québec Ombudsman in strict confidence and with no risk of reprisal.
Employees of CISSS de la Côte-Nord may contact the person in charge of the institution to make a disclosure. Any disclosure from a user, a supplier, a subcontractor or any other person who is not a staff member must be referred to the Québec Ombudsman.
A wrongoing is an act committed or about to be committed against the CISSS de la Côte-Nord and which constitutes:
- A violation of a law or regulation applicable in Québec;
- A serious breach of ethics and professional conduct;
- A misuse of funds or property of a public body, including those managed or held for others;
- A serious case of mismanagement within a public body, including an abuse of authority;
- An act or omission that causes or is likely to cause serious harm to the health or safety of a person or the environment;
- Directing or advising a person to commit a wrongdoing.
